A Newborn "fairy tale beginnings" mini-session is for parents who want professional portraits of their precious new baby, but don't want all the "bells and whistles" that come with a full service session.  I offer unique, quality portraits that are inspired by the infant and family I'm photographing. 

Mini-Session Package

  • 90 minute session
  • Newborn ONLY (6-12 days old)
  • 2 set ups with blanket and/or basket
  • Online Gallery
  • Custom Photo App
  • 3 gift prints (5x7 or smaller)
  • 1 wall print (11x14 or smaller)
  • Your choice:  24 custom announcements or 3 hard cover wallet albums
  • 8x10 Album Credit: 5 pages**
Sessions take place in your home where I will bring various newborn costume props, blankets and professional camera equipment to create a safe portrait experience for you and your precious new bundle.  Once the session is over, my work begins!!   As part of my service, I will go through all the images taken and choose 20-25 of the best of the best final images to work with and professionally enhance each image.   As the baby inspires me, I will begin to develop and create a handful of final images turning them into works of art that you are sure to love!

ColoradoI have several knitted newborn costume prop/themes available for either boy or girl, including:  animals, mickey mouse, baseball, fireman, pirate, mermaid, princess, dragon and MORE!! 

If you or someone you know is expecting and would like more information, please be sure to inquire early in pregnancy to get information and get a spot on my calendar!  I only book ONE mini-session per month on a first come, first service basis!  Slots will fill up fast!!  

Disclaimer:  These sessions are only for newborns 6-12 days old and only include portraits of baby (portraits with siblings and other family members are only included in full service sessions.)

The only word that comes to mind when I think about Isiah's session is FUN !  I've known Isiah since he was little and boy has he grown up!   Isiah came all the way from Pueblo where he goes to Central High School and is quite the athlete.  He is looked up to by his friends and his parents couldn't be more proud of this superstar! The only stipulation to getting his pictures taken was that he could bring 2 of his closest friends... of course, I said "YES!" It was a beautiful fall day and we couldn't have asked for better scenery.  Isiah is quite outgoing and not very shy about anything!   When he isn't poking fun at his sisters, he is hanging with the guys.  Although, their sense of fun is a little different than what some might think!  Maybe we should have had second thoughts about getting all of them that close to the side of a canyon!  However, these 3 friends sure know how to show a girl a good time!

On the sunnyside of the street... Abling Family

Meet Mark, Shaunna and little Theo!    I had the funnest time with this family trio!!  Shaunna requested a family portrait session for Mother's Day and we couldn't have done it on the a better day here in Colorado.  We met at Hudson Garden in the late afternoon (after Theo's nap) and he was such a charmer!  Theo found a new cuddle friend in the teddy bear I gave him while his parents enjoyed their time watching their little guy explore and taking in some beautiful warmth and sunshine! Little man, on the move! What's a garden without butterflies?! Can you spy the butterfly in the lilacs??  I don't know what Mark was saying but Theo and Shaunna thought it was amusing...  just look at those smiles!  Mark and Shaunna have a long history together (no pun intended...lol... they are both history teachers!)  Their story has taken them on many adventures together bringing them to one of the most fun, challenging and rewardin

Becca and Gwen

With my all new Once Upon A Time storybook sessions and services, I wanted to try out a couple looks and costumes.  These two beautiful girls fit right into it perfectly!   Once Upon A Time sessions are for children 4-10.  Gwen is a sassy 9 year old that knows how to work the camera!  I just can't get enough of that sweet smile!!  As a princess, Gwen looked amazing in a crown! I have known Becca for almost 6 years now and she is certainly blossoming into quite the beauty inside and out!   Didn't I tell you this one is sassy?  Her mother had this idea for a pose... I think it's perfection!   It was in this costume that Gwen really let loose and started to have fun!   Becca couldn't believe I asked her to kiss the Frog Prince... but she did and looked beautiful doing it!!  What fun!!
