Princess Mini Sessions - Meet the girls!!

On Saturday, September 3, 2016 I threw a princess party and invited 6 little girls to get made up in gown and tiara and get their portraits taken to ramp up my new photography "Once Upon A Time" service offerings.  Without a doubt, I couldn't ask for more beautiful and fun little models!

As part of being involved with these sessions, each little princess is competing to win their very own exclusive full Storybook Session with me!  This session includes:

  • Up to a 2 hour session, on location
  • 40 candid and posed images
  • Up to 5 costume and prop changes (provided)
  • 12x12 hard cover story album with a one of a kind story written just for the winner and illustrated with images from the session!
  • Custom Photo App, Gallery, and MORE!!
This service for one child is regular $450 and will all go to the princess that gets the most likes on Facebook beginning September 12th through September 15th!

Below are individual images and a bit about each contender for this extraordinary and unique gift!

Up first is.... 


PRINCESS HARPER!

This blonde hair, blue eyed beauty is your all American girl!  She is adventurous and has an infectious smile!  Her giggle is about the cutest sound in the world and you can just tell within minutes of being around her that she is funny with all the sass to go along with it!  She is energetic and spends her time with friends and is involved in gymnastics!  





PRINCESS GABRIELLA

Gabriella's session was fast and furious because this photogenic young lady was off to win a soccer game!  After all, a true princess has time to do it all in one afternoon!  This clever young miss is shy but obviously loves to be in front of the camera and the camera loves her!!





PRINCESS LARKIN  

This true red head is an absolute doll!  She loves being a princess but she also plays hard and can throw down with the boys!  She is an active beauty who enjoys horseback riding and archery (um, Merida?!)  She was very comfortable in front of the camera which allowed me to capture pictures of her admiring her gown!






PRINCESS DAYCIA 

Daycia is an active 7 year old with big, beautiful brown eyes!  She is simply a natural when it comes to playing the part and even though apprehensive to get her picture taken was simply gorgeous in front of the camera!




PRINCESS MARIBEL

Mari knows what she wants and won't be forced into kissing a frog real or pretend... LOL!  Her favorite princess is Tiana and like Tiana is headstrong and focused on being herself!  That kind of determination is admirable and quite sweet coming from a very wise 7 year old beauty.







PRINCESS LENA

Last but not least is Yelenna!  She is very quiet but observes everything!  When she isn't smiling in front of a camera you can tell that she is taking in everything around her and constantly in thought.  Lena is beautiful on the inside and out and wears her crown proudly!   



 
Now, I ask you, how sweet are these little angels?!

Boys Will Be Boys!! - Senior Spotlight 2017

The only word that comes to mind when I think about Isiah's session is FUN !  I've known Isiah since he was little and boy has he grown up!   Isiah came all the way from Pueblo where he goes to Central High School and is quite the athlete.  He is looked up to by his friends and his parents couldn't be more proud of this superstar! The only stipulation to getting his pictures taken was that he could bring 2 of his closest friends... of course, I said "YES!" It was a beautiful fall day and we couldn't have asked for better scenery.  Isiah is quite outgoing and not very shy about anything!   When he isn't poking fun at his sisters, he is hanging with the guys.  Although, their sense of fun is a little different than what some might think!  Maybe we should have had second thoughts about getting all of them that close to the side of a canyon!  However, these 3 friends sure know how to show a girl a good time!

On the sunnyside of the street... Abling Family

Meet Mark, Shaunna and little Theo!    I had the funnest time with this family trio!!  Shaunna requested a family portrait session for Mother's Day and we couldn't have done it on the a better day here in Colorado.  We met at Hudson Garden in the late afternoon (after Theo's nap) and he was such a charmer!  Theo found a new cuddle friend in the teddy bear I gave him while his parents enjoyed their time watching their little guy explore and taking in some beautiful warmth and sunshine! Little man, on the move! What's a garden without butterflies?! Can you spy the butterfly in the lilacs??  I don't know what Mark was saying but Theo and Shaunna thought it was amusing...  just look at those smiles!  Mark and Shaunna have a long history together (no pun intended...lol... they are both history teachers!)  Their story has taken them on many adventures together bringing them to one of the most fun, challenging and rewardin

Becca and Gwen

With my all new Once Upon A Time storybook sessions and services, I wanted to try out a couple looks and costumes.  These two beautiful girls fit right into it perfectly!   Once Upon A Time sessions are for children 4-10.  Gwen is a sassy 9 year old that knows how to work the camera!  I just can't get enough of that sweet smile!!  As a princess, Gwen looked amazing in a crown! I have known Becca for almost 6 years now and she is certainly blossoming into quite the beauty inside and out!   Didn't I tell you this one is sassy?  Her mother had this idea for a pose... I think it's perfection!   It was in this costume that Gwen really let loose and started to have fun!   Becca couldn't believe I asked her to kiss the Frog Prince... but she did and looked beautiful doing it!!  What fun!!
